Rigid Spray-Foam

CNSL based polyols have demonstrated some intrinsic benefits that result in higher performance insulations. The high reactivity and surfactant-like behavior of these polyols allow for lower use levels of catalysts(self-catalyzing) and silicone surfactants respectively, which results in cost savings for polyurethane foam formulators. The aromatic structure of CNSL provides excellent fire resistance to meet stringent building code requirements. The hydrophobic nature of CNSL ensures good moisture resistance and low water absorption that helps protect the integrity of the foam. The good hydrolytic stability of these polyols and their balanced mechanical properties provide very good dimensional stability and high compression strength even when exposed to harsh environments.
